Looking to get some more RAM, standard DDR2 stuff for my desktop but the prices on ebuyer seem so expensive, is there anywhere that actually does good deals on decent ram these days?
www.scan.co.uk is the place I normally go to for computer equipment. Ebay is normally a good place to pick some up. I flogged my old DDR2 stuff on there and, I would say, the guy got a bargain!
How much DDR2 are you looking for? DDR2 isn't that expensive at the moment (well, not a couple of weeks ago), but standard DDR is.... I'm sure I've got a 2Gb DDR2. Can check tomorrow if you want...
This. And use their site to determine the optimal ram for your mobo. Don't buy anything rated higher than they recommend as you will be throwing away your money.
Crucial is good but I usually call round to Scan (www.scan.co.uk) and pick up what ever I need, they are cheaper than most places and I don't have to wait for the stuff to arrive.
If you can wait for weekend then memory is always on their todayonly offers from Friday afternoon.
