Best Wireless trigger?

Hey all.

I have a Nikon D7000, still don't use it enough to warrant an upgrade.
Recently i purchased a Pixel Stick to do some artsy stuff, and being bill no mates quickly realised how difficult it is to do.

I already have a infra red Nikon remote to act as a trigger, although i find it is limited and at a distance is a little hit and miss.

So, i was wanting to know your thoughts on the best wireless triggers as there are lots of options.

My main question is:
1. Which is the best - Money no consideration?
2. Which is the best in balance of cost?

What criteria to you define as "best". Any trigger that is 100% reliable and triggers a shutter actuation every time when pressed would be best. Or are you looking at one that will do additional things such as act as an intervalometer, delay timer, lightning activation and lots of other stuff?
