Do any of you good folk have advice on the best course that I could enrole on that would allow me to work from home at my own pace in my spare time.

Relative newcomer looking to learn but feel that I could grasp at least the basics fairly quickly.

I feel that I could benefit from the regular contact and task setting with dedicated feedback

Thanks Tony,

I see you have recently completed a weekend course... have you completed any of the above courses (or indeed anyone else for that matter) and if so would you recommend it.

Do you (or anyone else) have an opinion on which one would be the best? I quite like the look of the top and bottom ones myself.

Hi, the DMC online photography course for beginners is pretty good. It's very practical, and the tutor is a professional photographer who also teaches photography at an art college. The course has accreditation, and it costs less than many of the other courses around.

If you do decide to do the Learning at Home course, I would check that your tutor is a proper photographer, as in my experience, many of these online schools tend to hire people who may not be as expert in the subject as one might expect.
