Windows live local, seems to be mapping software and aerial photographs combined.

The aerial image resolution is far better than google for my neck of the woods, I can even see my satellite dish :)
 
My house picture has us sitting in the garden!

Too low res to identify who is who but still ..:)

Google earth is just as out of date too... It shows my old house with my escort parked outside - thats 3 or more years ago now... it also shows CCL without the tarmac or paint in the car park - again a few years old.

Yeah, wonder why MS have bought this one out with just as out of date info as google ! lol
 
Probably because that's the latest imagery there is. The image of my house shows a flowerbed that hasn't been there for years either.
