Just a few shots from the Biggin Hill Airshow on Sunday. Highlight of the day was the fly past of a Virgin 747 with the Red Arrows, although, for those people that stayed to the bitter end, the Spitfire for me, put on one of the best low level displays I've seen for ages.

Thanks for the comments, the light conditions were varied, and the speaker stand provided a challenge too avoid when panning but enjoyed the day. Next year, taking a hacksaw to remove such obstacles or get there at 7:30 am

Number 5 is breathtaking! You should email Virgin's press department and see if they want to spend some money with you.

WHAT a set! Stunning!

Wow, that must have been a sight, a 747 escorted by the Reds! :woot:.

#3 for me pete, well done .

Brilliant, unfortunately best intentions of being there but we missed it.
Numbers 5, 1 and 7 (agree shame about both not being wholly in shot) :)

Excellent shots, i loved seeing the reds with the 747 too! Shame about the vulcan, least we saw it on the sat!

I had probs with peoples heads in the way, had to do bursts between them

Thanks for the comments. Lisa mine was the speaker and stands (getting in the way that is). Friend was part of the media crowd, so got to see the Vulcan on Saturday like you, got some really good shots as he was on the other side of the runway shooting with the sun. I was lucky enough to see the Vulcan on the previous weekend at Kemble (although conditions were overcast and grey). An impressive beast

Thanks for the comments, must remember next year though, avoid standing near a speaker stand, thats not dark skies in shot 1, that the edge of the :bang: speaker, but liked the image anyway :naughty:
