Went to Thorpe Perrow Arboretum today and the bird of prey and mammal centre there (though there weren't many mammals :p). The falcons and owls were great and I caught two displays. Anyway, loads of portraits mainly, but I still like them.

Canon 350D with Canon 70-200 2.8 L IS and Canon 2x converter. EXIFs should be retained.

Really recommend going for the birds but the arboretum is good for some landscapes too.
 
I think 2 and 5 really show the intensity that BOP concentrate on a target. Great set of captures. I think my fave is number 5, the falcon looks like it's about to take off and hunt

great set, the buzzard is a little soft to my eyes (and only on the eye/beak area), but still good :)
Yeah, now you mention it, it might not be as sharp as the others. I do have lots of other ones of that bird, I just liked the pose from that shot.
