She loves running at me when her photo is being taken, especially in water. Its remembering to get out of the way in time!

Nice set of action photos. Photo 4, looks like he/she is loving it. Very sprightly for a 12 year old.
Keep meaning to get something like that with my dog. My Staffie tends to run in the opposite direction, when I have my camera with me.

Thanks for the comments. She is in very good shape for a 12 year old so hoping to get many more years photographing her. She really does seem to enjoy it and anytime I bend down with my camera she comes running.

2 really made me smile, 4 is also great. For me, could maybe improve by cropping to portrait orientation, the backgrounds are not that interesting.

Thanks - may try a portrait crop and see what it looks like. For 3 though I feel it works as landscape better as she's running into something. For the others, as you say, the background doesn't provide anything additional.
