Black Labradore

Can anybody help:

I have Two Brown Labradores On White One Black I can never get good pics of the Black one what am I doing wrong

Try different types of metering... off the top of my head, I'm not sure which...

Try having an experiment with them all.


P.s Sorry if its all quite vague!

Meter off the dog and then knock it down 1 to 2 stops until it appears black, but still retains detail in the hair.
