Great detail and wonderful light on these pictures.

Are these at Lakenheath?
 
Yes mate these were taken yesterday about 1630 ish?

I think these are great - especially against those skies. I like the detail in 1 and 2 but I think 4 just edges it as my favourite for putting a bit more space around it. Great shots :)

Excellent collection taken against lovely moody skies. :)

Amazing how the heat haze forms; you can see on the right hand side (on the first 2 shots especially) almost a straight line form of diffraction, as if you are looking through water, through to the shimmering haze on the left (y)

Where were you standing to get these? Only ever ben in the car park as usually short of time when I have managed to get there

William, I usually park up at the forest entrance and walk into the fields or the perimeter fence.
