That good? How long is the strap at its longest Graham? I am a bit of a porker, so need it to be nice and long.
The RS7 is 1.6 meters long when you unclip it and lay it end to end fully extended (just measured it). You can buy an extension that clips in too.

I carry my 300/2.8 with a arca clamp that fits right on to the lens plate - works a treat and you do not have to mess around taking the plate off.Has anyone got a good solution to mount one of these straps on an arca swiss plate?
I like them but all my lenses have arca plates on them!
Anybody use the "Q" straps available on e-bay? They seem to be a rip off of the Black Rapid straps, but about a third of the price.
Before changing to BR I used Optech Pro straps, there are knock-off versions of those available too, so I bought one. It failed whilst there was a camera on it and the camera and lens ended up bouncing off the ground.
Is it really work scrimping on something you're asking to hold £3k worth of camera and lens?
