Blackberry 8900

Can any one help me please with regards to blackberry 8900, Can you load onto it a stand alone satnav software, I understand it comes with telenav, which as far as I can tell, you pay for per month.! Also can you view/edit word files, or is there a note pad program available on the unit that I can copy across word files. I have searched the net for the answers but don't really get a definite answer.

I dont pay for the sat nav on mine, just works :|

And you can get "office to go" or "word to go" for editing files.
