Im planning to start a blog/website as this summer im going away most weekends with the intentions of taking pics from around the country.... mainly of the dog (call me sad but shes just like a child  as i dont like nor want kids) sooo

do i get a paid blog as it could be associated with my busines or a weebly/freewebs account acceptable???

does it really matter??

any thoughts welcome?

p.s i do already have a website (paid).. and any really good pics will go on there -however this weekend thing is a personal thing :)

thanks

I use blogger because it's run by google and bolts onto my website as a clickable link. Being google based it's easily indexed for SEO :)

Free and dead easy to use.

i suppose it comes down to your technical competance with the software available. I use wordpress and joomla for vairous stuff, so for me it would be a hosted site with wordpress rather than a free site, that said there are some very good ones

ok thanks both

on those you can ad pics? and words?
im not good normally with computers

i just found weebly amazingly easy as well as freewebs....?

How about a sub domain on your website, like blog.yourdomain.com which has no links to your site and your site has no links to it..

i have nooo idea how to do that

i created one on blogger.com however it looks a bit :/ now ive looked at it.

think might just stick with simples ones. this techical stuff scares me

thanks all

i went with weebly in the end - really easy and can (will)! upgrade to a paid one in the future :)

:)

I had a free Blogger one for a while but got frustrated by the fact I couldn't really customise it. I transferred it over to a free Wordpress one last year (hosted by Wordpress), and I'm much happier with it. As it's a free one there's only so much customising you can do, but I much prefer it and there's lots of themes, plus more space for bigger pictures.
