Blue Eyes

Spotted this in the garden earlier, and got a shot through the kitchen window. I know it's only a pigeon, but I thought the eye colour strange, and it looks kinda tatty..

Nice clear and sharp shot John. You must have amazingly clean kitchen windows!! Can't offer much up about his eyes though, sorry.

Thanks very much Sara. Actually, the windows are better with a little dirt on them as it reduces the reflections from inside the house ..

Anyone got any idea why this one might have blue eyes ? I've only ever seen Yellow on the wood pigeons around here.
