Bonjour and Sacre Bleu

Hello from sunny France (apart from the thunder storms and torrential rain that is).
Having a good trip photographically so far apart from my Voigtlander Bessa R3A has stopped working i.e shutter no longer fires. Anyone any ideas, could it just be battery?

The shutter won't fire without one, so it's the most likely explanation.
