These are all of Boscastle, where they had the horrendous floods a couple of years back.

Very beautiful and scenic, looks like they are recovering from that disaster that struck them some years back.

They are definitely recovering from the floods of 2 years ago, there's still a lot of renovating/repairs going on though.

Love Boscastle, great pub (The Cobweb) my other half's father was born there so we know the area well. When the tide is out you get a "blow hole" through to the sea on the RHS of the 1st picture and it makes some very strange noises - little bit of trivia for you.

I've got a good shot of the offshore stacks through the harbour gap, will have to dig it out when I get home.

I like to visit Boscastle every time i am in the area, is a nice place ! and the repairs seem to be taking an age but they are making an excellent job of it !

Great set of shots - Thanks for sharing - looks a beautiful place.

In Carlisle we know all too well how long it takes to recover from floods, just last week our local Curry House reopened - it was flooded with 5 ft of water in Jan 2005; glad the place is getting back to rights.
