Bosnian Photographers?

Hello -

Does anyone know of photographers from Bosnia (or other former Yugoslavian countries) that are currently photographing their own culture?

I am writing my thesis on visual representation with a focus on this area. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you!
Melody

I saw an exhibition of photos by a polish photographer Lukasz Trzcinski. He's travelled all over the former eastern bloc countries

Of course if you want Sarajavo, there's just been a series about the city 20 years on:

Plus plenty of reporting/images from there. I think last weekends 'From our own correspondent' podcast with Kate Adie came from there as well.

Thank you for those links. Lukasz isn't exactly what I'm looking for (for this particular project) but I have become an instant fan. The BBC link is really helpful.

Thanks again!

Great, thank you! The thing is though, I'm looking for Bosnian photographers who are photographing Bosnian people, as opposed to people from other countries going in and photographing them. This is what I'm having trouble with...

Oh poo, just spent last 10 minutes looking for this thread to say there was a BBC article and you wanted Bosnian not Romanian

That's why it wasn't coming up in my search

But here's the Romania one anyway

No worries. That's what we're here for :)
