This post is based on the concern I had reading this http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/nikon-nps-have-found-my-d800-body-damaged.534692/.
My question is, is there such a thing as a bracket that can fasten to the tripod mount on a camera and the tripod foot on a long lens that can support the camera and lens and therefore prevent pulling the bayonet mount on the camera out of alignment?
Is this a silly question?
