Like the first one but feel the peirce is too far to the right, to close to the edge.

Love Brighton... for the first one, I'd prefer some separation between the remaining pier and the stilts (?) i.e. if you'd gone 20m left ? I know that makes it difficult to avoid the other stilts

I don't know the area but what Damian says makes sense to me regarding #1. Love the overall composition.

#2 is not nearly as interesting imo.

These two images are certainly 'different' to any other of the 100s of images (including mine) that I have seen of the West Pier - so well done in that respect.

Second is a belter.
First, I see what you were going for, but for me, the structure is just a little too far to the right.
