Local weather guy is saying that an early morning flight may well be possible tomorrow, no rain forecast until lunchtime ... if they do the projected flight path will be over the Suspension Bridge and heading north.

No action today and tomorrow is set to be all dreadful. Sunday afternoon has a slim chance still

Saturday 06.00hrs lift looking promising, dry conditions and 4 mph wind speed (lowest wind speed of the weekend).

South to south east wind is forecast by metoffice. Yr.no is not far off. That will send them straight over Leigh Woods. They may be wrong in which case I will have to eat my shoe. I've got a lot going on tomorrow so no sleep is not an option.

Ideally you want wind from south west.

Afternoon is certainly pure misery. Same for Sunday.

Made a half-hearted attempt from Knowle just after 7am but they seemed to get a lot higher more quickly so my planned 'balloons over the Suspension Bridge' shot never materialised.

Seen that shot a few times now, obviously I was in a different Bristol that weekend looking at the wrong suspension bridge!
