First time with a DSLR at a Zoo, not that easy when you've taken the family for the day out!

I took the opportunity to have a look at the full set, some nice captures in there. That silver-back looks menacing.

Of the ones you have "put up" I like the first one but the fuzziness at the bottom is a bit off putting, The colour of that reptile is amazing, I wonder what its natural environment is?
