Yes
just wondered if anyone else was on the orange broadband with the live box..?

as i dont know what i have done but the phone wont work with the net plugged in ..

its is either one of the adsl filters is broke " do they break i dont know"

or i have not got them in the right place....

does anyone know the correct plan for fitting..

as in erthernet cable to pc, then phone line to pc, the two cables from the livebox into a filter then into the socket...

This does sound like a filer problem. Check first by disconnecting everything - then plug a phone into your master socket. If it works then you either have a dud filter (yes, they do fail) or you haven't got enough filters in place.

Difficult to advise about positioning of filters without knowing more of your set up but, essentially, every telephonic device in the house needs a filter between it and the wall socket it is using.

after a little play around i think it maybe the filter issue

i will get a new on and try that,,

Is it something new for you Dave.. the Livebox... ie, have you just set it up, or did it suddenly stop working for no reason?

You will need a filter before any phone type equipment that you have....
ie, one before each telephone, fax, and the broadband line will come out of one of those ( the computer symbol... not the phone symbol obviously)and go straight into the livebox
