Brush help please

I'm not sure what i've done, but with the exception of the hand tool and magnification tool, i've only got cross hairs for everything else (CS3)! It's even on cross hairs when using the crop tool. It's making a right pain in the wotsits as I can't see the size of the brush i'm using for anything like spot repair, dodge/burn etc etc.

Anyone got any idea what I've pressed to make it do this? It was working perfectly until i pressed something accidentally but no idea what that was!

Edit/Preferences/cursors

You have probably ticked the "precise" options :)
 
ah. How do I untick it??
 
Just tick another option.

I use "Normal brush tip" on the "Painting Cursors" side and "Standard" on the "Other cursors" side (That is the one causing the biggest problem!)
 
grrr. Just re-opened photoshop and it's back to normal again! Stupid computers... (as i'm always telling my troops, you put s&^% in, you get s&^% out)
 
Check your CAPS LOCK. CAPS LOCK on = precise cursor
 
lol think that was it as I the caps lock was on when I went to type this thread! You learn something new everyday!
