BT + Flickr pro accounts

Have always paid for a pro account in the past but since my renewal is due in a few days, I want to use the freebie I get from being a BT customer. How do I make flickr recognise this?
 
Hey Pat - when you say 'BT Customer' what does that mean ?

Just curious.....
 
Anyone with BT total broadband gets a free Flickr pro account. Well 10 pro accounts actually as you can create 9 more email addresses with your BT account and each of those get a Flickr pro account for free as well.
 
I got mine by signing up with my BT email account, then it was all automatic. Is your current pro account using you BT/Yahoo login?

It uses a Yahoo login but that was set up just by signing up to yahoo before I joined BT.

I've tried going through the BT website and setting up another BT/Yahoo account, have set flickr to recognise that as the primary address and log-in, but it's not telling me anything different - my account is still going to expire.....
 
Is there any way to associate an existing Flickr account with a new BT/Yahoo pro account?
 
I changed mine today.

Go to 'Your Account' scroll down the page to 'Your Yahoo! account' and click on 'Use a different Yahoo! ID for this Flickr account'. Change it to your BT email address and that's it, all done.

This is what I did today too, also make sure the BT email is the primary one too.
 
Thanks for that info - I've changed mine and created a second account for some course work I'm doing to keep it separate from the usual stuff.
 
Mine's worked now - no paying for a pro account as long as I'm with BT. Took a 15-minute call to a woman in Dehli but it worked....

I have just done that and it has stayed the same freebie one I had before. Does it take long to change or is it automatic?
 
Out of interest, if you originally had a non bt email account, which was changed using the above methods a few months ago, what would happen if you changed that to a different email account, i.e if you moved away from bt?
