Beginner Butterflies and a lizard

Hi all,

Thought I'd share my amateur shots of some butterflies and a lizard.

The lizard was very difficult to capture as it was under the lip of a swimming pool side and I didn't want to use the flash and scare it!

What do you guys think?

I think you have done very well with the lizard Adrian. I think the first with prey in its mouth is great - though I'd rotate it 180 degrees personally.

Some nice shots of the second butterfly - even if it is a bit tatty. Eyes in the close ups are nice.

Last one is missing focus on the head for me.

Well done with the lizard. FWIW I wouldn't rotate it.

I like the butterfly shots, especially the first two.
