They are sharp, and a cracking set-you must be well chuffed with your 5D II
 
I had to come back and look at these!!

I am surprised at the dof you've managed on these when the exif shows some quite reasonable apertures. I haven't used the 5D2 for any macro work yet, if it's as good as this, then I can't see the 7D ever seeing the light of day!!!!
 
thanks for comments - really enjoying 5d, it makes you smile when you use it - the amount of detail it captures and colours - just seems immense, looking forward to some sunny days with lots of insects.

You wont believe the detail, it produces when you give it a go - my bro's got the mpe on the 5d - I cant wait to see some of his results - reducing the file down the 800px dosent really do it justice - wait till you see the full size pics.
