I am currently in the middle of negotiating a sale on these forums for an ipad - see the link here ...

I am based in Cheshire, with the seller being based in London.
As we are talking about a decent wad of money, I was wondering if TP offers (or knows of any) buyer / seller protection schemes ? having done several trades on TP before, I know a lot of it is based on trust, but I have always met people locally for sales that were of large amounts of money.
As far as I can see on paypal, the protection scheme only covers purchases made on EBay. Does anyone know of anything different ?
I am hoping to get this sorted as I really want the item, but am (maybe too?) cautious due to the monies involved!
