Taken on slide film, first time using film for bird photography.

No 3 for me, a delightful composition, well controlled whites and a good sense of depth.

Thanks, I am surprised the first one is liked so much, I would prefer the buzzard so much more if there was some more light on the head/eye. I don't know why 3 works as it doesn't follow any rules but I like it.

Im with Les, No.3 does it for me, as you say it doesnt follow any rules but it seems to work regardless

Love the buzzard shot!!

We had a buzzard flying in parallel to the car whilst we were going along the M8 - I was gutted I hadn't had the camera out quick enough!

I had that situation coming up the A1 on the return leg....I'd had it by my side all the way on the outbound leg
