Having just solved my problem sorting out my old Imac (which some of you kind people on here helped me with immencely), I now have another pain in the bum problem, although I think it may be a faulty Imac.
I have bought a shiny new 27" Imac on Monday and it has developed a fairly high pitched buzzing noise which gets worse the brighter the screen gets. My old Imac hardly made a noise at all, just the faint hum of the fan and HDD.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I've searched online and found a few people with the same issue and most seem to have returned the Imac for repair. As I don't want to be without the Imac during repair, I'm thinking of returning it to John Lewis and getting another one somewhere else the same day. John Lewis don't have any in stock at present so I tried to see if they would offer me a deal on an upgraded 3.1ghz for my troubles but they'll only refund my petrol (which is fair enough, but if you don't ask eh?
