camera bag for dslr + 300m

I'm looking for a packpac style bag for wildlife photography so I can have a D3s
with the 300mm attached in the pack while carrying a smaller dslr while walking ....any Ideas .
Ps the bag really only needs to carry the camera with lens no other bits .
I already have the low pro treckrs ect to bulky ..

What 300mm lens? 300 f2.8 is a lot bigger than say 70-300.

I'd be guessing the /2.8 version as he's got a D3s!


Have a look at the Lowepro Flipside 400AW.

Compact (relatively) and it can easily take a Canon 1D with a Sig 120-300 attached, so roughly what you're carting, there also room in mine for a 7D + 70-200/4.


The weight distribution is good and it's a very flexible option.

I have a crumpler pretty bella (gay name I know) that I use for carrying the 300mm 2.8 mounted and i can also fit the 70-200 2.8 in there also mounted. with room to squeeze the 1.4x TC and a few spare batteries, memory card case and lens cleaning bits.
