Just had my £50th birthday and was lucky enough to get a nice lump sum (£1100) which is going to fund a new camera, thought this was going to be a easy decision, could not have been more wrong.
I have 40D with 50mm 1.8, 17-85mm 3.5 and old Sigma 70-300 4.5,
I shoot anything done motorbikes, cars, jets, weddings, buildings, events, etc you get the idea,
so looked at 7d, 5d mk2, d700 d800 and 5d mk3, the latter would be part cash part finance, do I keep the 40 and buy good glass, do I switch to nikon? sell everything and start again?
I know I'm the only one who can make the final decision but I do appreciate any thoughts ideas you could come up with
Thanks Paul
