Camera insurance for going to the US

Im going to the states from the 1st of Feb till 21st of April. Im not working over there, but taking my camera gear which equates to around £6000 what options to I have for global camera insurance?


I remember getting leaflets in the post and in camera mags and im sure it had global coverage but I cant remember the company grr
 
i'm insured through Imaging Insurance, they offer 60 day worldwide coverage as part of their insurance. Not sure if you can buy it as seperate insurance if your not insured through them
 
Why don't you phone and ask them. Everyone's needs for insurance are different whcih is why, without a quote, you won't know. I had a factor of 2 difference between cheapest and most expensive last year.
 
my kit on new for old, covered at home and on location, 60 day europe and worldwide, Public Liabiltiy to 5 mill and indemnity to 50K was about 500. cant remember the exact figure without chekcing the agreement.


As Paul says though your best to ring them as your needs are different to mine ;)
