As many of you know we recently had a slight whipround;) for wheel's new camera.

And I had a thought....what happens to the poor chap should the worst happens and he has an accident with the new one?

So I contacted my insurers and told them about your wonderful generosity and asked if they could help in any way.

Well take a bow Photoguard. They have stepped in with the superb gesture of a year's free cover for the body and lens in the UK AND included vehicle cover! Sorted it today. :)

So if you are looking for insurance or a renewal on your policy, please give them a shout. After all what goes around, comes around.

Yeah, I saw the first post you made regarding this and they've sevured my business because of it!

I'm sure others will do the same, well done Photoguard!!

while were on the subject... what do people think to E&L inurance???

fronm what iv read people tend to avoid e&l, iv heard good reviews of www.gloverhowe.com so decided today to take up the policy, £45 for the year to cover £1300 equipment. Fingers crossed il never need it but nice to know its their.

I still need to sort Insurance for when I go away... will have a look at them for sure.

I read that too, it's good to know people will still rally round.

Am with photoguard too, not the cheapest provider but I'm covered for everything and anywhere and that suits me just fine :)

il be contacting them.

my insurers have told me i cant get cover this year due to my claim which i think is an absolute joke!

Anyone whos dealt with them may be able to help...

Im going to insure around £3500 of kit at the moment... im going to be adding around a £1000 worth next month, is it easy to ammend the amount once the policy has started?

Thanks.

Yes it is, you can add and subtract equipment mid term, all it needs is an adjustment. They were also great when I changed every bit of kit I owned. Not exactly a minor amendment. :)

They rang today whilst we were there and put him on cover over the phone!

Welcome Julian, you truly are most welcome. It's the least I could do and I may not be a genius with bits of metal and cables but I can still help in my own little way :)
