Camera & Lens repair/service

Hi all,

I have a Canon EOS 20D and a number of lenses. However, one of the lenses I liked to use a lot is the Sigma 24-70. However, it seems to have stopped working!

The camera has not been used in a couple of years, and I feel it will be in need of a service.

However, can anyone recommend anywhere that I can send my equipment to that will do a good job and are reasonably priced?

Many thanks!

Haha, I was asking for that wasn't I! I live in Norfolk.

I dropped a canon 17-40L into a stream few months ago, sent it to the lensdoctor in Glasgow - cost £212 to repair but got it back looking like a new lens - not sure about cameras but he is the official repairer to the BBC. http://www.thelensdoctor.co.uk/ -

Thanks all for the reply.

I've decided to get my lens fixed, but keep the camera as it is. The EOS 20D is now 14 years old (I can't believe I purchased mine nearly 13 years ago!!). However, once I've brushed the cobwebs and got my lens sorted, I'll see how I get on and maybe treat myself to a new DSLR later in the year.
