Can anyone explain flickr stats, please?

I posted a picture on flickr this morning.
Lokking at my stats they say that I have had 202 views of the image today, but the total views are 141.
How can the total views be so many fewer than today's views? Surely they should be the same?
Only a small point in the greater scheme of things, but one that's niggling me!

I'm not 100% sure, but the 141 could be unique views whereas 202 is all views.

There have been a number of views from the same IP, each view is checked and if the same IP views again it is counted but not into the total number of individual views.

So you get two figures one being total views and the other smaller total number of individual ip's or people / site views

My niggle is that the same picture on my flickr is always the most viewed every day ?
