Beginner Can I use an old Nikkor film camera lens with a reversing ring on my D3300?

Hiya,

I have purchased a BR-2A macro adapter ring for my D3300, which I've so far been using with my AF-S 18-55mm lens.

I have found a Nikkor AF D Zoom 35/80mm f/4/f5.6 lens for sale, which is for the older film cameras, and was wondering if it would be compatible to use with the reversing ring on my D3300?

If anyone has any advice, I'd be very grateful! Thanks.

For sure… even with out in many cases but
it will be totally manual in either usage!
