Hello,

In the Equipment forum, I’m now unable to see the Fabulous Fuji X thread listed when I’m logged in. I know I must have inadvertently hit a ‘mute’ button somewhere but I just can’t find it. Been through my settings and ignore list (can’t believe the number of folk that’s there!) but can’t find any obvious setting to undo this change - can any one help me out and get the Fabulous Fuji X thread back? Many thanks.

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

So who is interested in the Fuji X-T1 being released tomorrow? Im thinking this will be a good step forward for Fuji but at the same time feel that the X Pro 2 is now due. Although its actually a year away still it feels weird they have no flagship body anymore as such. Im hoping the X-T1 will...

Thanks Cobra, yes I can see it when linked above and I can visit it, and I can also see it in the Main Forums page under latest posts for the Equipment forum (Pauly is latest post). However I can’t see the thread when I go into the Equipment forum, should be near the top as there’s been posts today! All was well a couple of days ago.
 
Thanks Bepop, but I just can’t see the thread. Photo below taken just now, it’s nowhere insight and as you say, should be near the top.

That's all very strange its about 8 from the top, those ahead of it are pinned threads and don't move

I've looked again, there are no settings on your account that would stop you from seeing it.
And you can't personally block a thread, apart from hiding the sale area.

All very strange.
I'll get the man with the spanners @sirch to have a look when he clocks on.

Lol, I’ll wait to see the result of the spanner man‘s tinkerings later today, thanks for your assistance!
 
Just to make it possibly easier to investigate, could you please indicate computer type (phone, pad, pc/mac etc), operating system, browser?
Have you refreshed your browser (quit and restarted it)?
I notice from your screenshot that it looks like you are using talkphotography.co.uk and not the www.talkphotography.co.uk version, I wonder if that makes a difference?
 
Thanks Lindsay - it’s across different devices, iPad, iPhone and iMac. I’ve already logged in and out of the forum on each device, as well as starting a new browser setting.
 
OK I guess it's a case of the dreaded lurgi then, one for Sirch when he gets a chance. Sorry I couldn't help.
 
I've had a look and I can't see anything obvious, are you "Watching" that thread? If so does it appear in Forums -> Watched at the top of the page?

The other thing to check is that when viewing Talk Equipment there is a "Filter" option top right, have you got anything set in there?
 
Thanks Sirch - I’m not watching the thread and nothing set in Filters I’m afraid. I’m going to reset my password now, doubt it will help but anything’s worth a try!

ETA: password reset, still can’t view the thread.

Could you try going into the thread via the link above and then clicking "Watch" and see if it appears in your watch list? You can always Unwatch after. I would just like to know if other parts of the forum software exhibit the same behaviour. Are there any other threads missing? I had a look at your screen shot and bebop's but its hard to tell because of timings, here's the list as at 15:43

BTW, you haven't Ignored mart77 have you? I'm not sure if that would hide the thread because he started it.

Thank you sirch, problem solved!

I must have done this by accident a couple of days ago, knew I must have hit a button somewhere along the line. There‘s a few intentionally on my ignore list, mart77 shouldn’t have been one of them. Thanks to you and Cobra for your patience and keenness to get this resolved.
