Hi, I got an email from a woman who wanted a photo created out of ones she already had as her husband had been killed in Iraq and she didn't have a photo of the two of them together. She sent me 3 images to see if I could do anything with them. I'm a photographer and do retouching but can't manipulate images like these. Thought I'd see if anyone wanted to have a try here. The dinner suit image was just one she found, but she wanted to have any full length of the two of them standing together and the only pic of her husband she had was the face shot.

Your links don't work, but in any case, please clear it with your client that it's OK to place images of herself and her loved one to be discussed in this manner.
 
So, let me get this straight.
She wants her from the first image, the head in the second image put into the dinner suit of the third image?

Very difficult pictures, and its likely to need a very talented photoshopper to do it.
 
I know. I couldn't do anything at all with it. I don't know the woman, just got an email asking if I could do this. I told her I couldn't but would ask around to see if anyone wanted to try. She doesn't really care if the 2 of them are in the dinner suit photo, she just wants one of the 2 of them together with him full length...
 
This sounds very strange to me and I would be inclined to steer clear TBH. I find it odd that she doesn't have a shot of them together... surely they would have some wedding pics if they were married. Also the head shot of him looks like a newspaper clipping... it all just seems a little odd :shrug: With the fear of potentially offending a genuine person with a genuine request I think I'll keep the rest of what my instincts tell me to myself, lol.
 
The second shot looks a bit like a video grab, I'd ask here if shes got any other shots, these two are not going to match very well anyway, the lighting on the faces is totally different. If he's a soldier there should be other photos of him in uniform. Wayne
 
Sorry, having just looked at the images you've provided, something doesnt seem right :cautious:

Please let us know what you decide to do, as this smells fishy to me, sad I know :shake:
 
Are the links broken or have you deleted the photos, as i was curious to see these after the other op's comments.
 
I'd heard from so many people that this was probably a dodgy request (still can't think WHY someone would want to do this?) that I have taken the links down now. Thanks for your help, though. Lynn
