Yes
It looks like the writing under the main headings has been made a lot lighter?
This makes it harder to read.
Can it be changed back to what it was?
Thanks

There has been a slight tweak to the colours to make a greater separation, between read and unread alerts,
within the neutral theme, only.

What does it matter if the highlighted ( by you) text is a tad lighter as a result? there is no useful information there.
Its staying as is.

It makes a lot of difference, the info there is useful, well to me
The chat bubbles to the left of forums has also change colour and that new blue blends in with the background, nothing useful there though

What how many replies it has? that is all that's there.
if it really bothers you left click and drag your mouse over it to highlight it

Blue on grey for the unread ones is is noticeable.
Its been like this a few days ...

I just changed to the daytime setting...

I still can't figure out the compliant,
It's exactly the colour it was, before Marcel deleted the theme, after an up grade some years ago,
and eventually condescended to reinstate it as a washed out version of itself ..

That's the complaint.....washed out/faint makes it harder to read.

You must be seeing a different version to me, mine has a lot more info

I'll put the daylight version up as that is clearer but I hate the bright background

Can see all that plainly, as I said, there is no useful info there
Just who said what / where at what time.,
Unless you are stalking someone I see no relevance it it whatsoever.

No, the point is for the last time. The colours as they stand are as they were before, the background is strong ( as it was) the fainter area's
Give more separation to read / unread alerts and messages.
It may not make a difference to you but as someone who gets dozens of alerts / PM's daily it makes a hell of a difference to me.

And again as per my post to Ingrid

Just who said what / where at what time.,

It's low contrast on a grey background, & much harder to read ...

I agree, mate. I thought my monitor had gone squirley...

As I posted above there is nothing useful in the low contrast areas.
However I'm working on the default style that should be more to your liking?

It is a bit off putting though imho

I am sorry to add this but I am finding the new colour scheme really really difficult to read. I am finding the whole site now difficult to read. Is there something I can do at my end to improve the contrast between text and background? A dark grey text on a light grey background means I am struggling.

You can change the theme using the button near the bottom left of the page, but the others are a bit garish I think......

There was a moment there when I thought I was going to vomit.

Came back in a few minutes later and it's changed again so I guess It's ongoing work.

As it is right now - I like. Not too different but fresher.

What happened there? My background suddenly went back to white. Methinks there is magic afoot. I can see so much better now. Thank you.

There maybe a few more changes to come before it settles, just bare with (y)

Any more complaints?

The most relevant bit is that it shows what forum the post was made in !
That is a screenshot from "New Posts" but it's your forum so your choice to make it hard to read
some parts

This morning the blue headings are insipid.
Looks like you’re running out of ink.

How best to deal with User Experience issues.

Ignore the Users!

@Cobra Everybody' eyesight is different, some people are colour blind, some see low contrast text better than others. You may find the information useless while other find it useful. If it's useless information just remove it completely.

I understand the new owners want to "update" the site.
But making the colours weaker - why?

On the neutral setting,The lighter parts are now easier to read so thanks for that.
However, the banner at the top is now blue when it was previously grey.
Blue is not neutral..... ;)
Noted (y)

I'm rather liking the "neutral" setting.
Nice job @Cobra (y)
