I'm sure there'll be a few that can guess the image content immediately - but thought I'd share this one as a recent bit of creativity. Any thoughts on what it might be?

Even at that speed - there was only 1 shot per balloon that showed a pattern like the above.... It doesn't take long for them to collapse into nothing!

Get extra large balloons from Amazon.... Although they're a bit of a bugger to tie up once full - it can be done

It was my first attempt - so I'll practice more soon... All you need is a hosepipe, a balloon, some food colouring, your camera and a tripod. The faster your FPS the better I imagine

A stick with a nail in it - pushing up through the gaps in the table

I've been meaning to try this with a 1 series Nikon which allows (IIRC) 60 fps. What shutter speed did you use to freeze the action enough?

I was set at 1/1000 of a second as the lighting wasn't as good as I'd hoped...
