Hello all, and I hope this is allowed (if not, then slam me a notification, it's happened before, and delete the thread).
I'm starting a sports car racing magazine. That's the short version.
The long version is that it's going to be online only, on a pdf format, for download. The first issue will be free, and if there's enough interest, I'm going to try and make issue 2 a charity donation.
The magazine is going into new (ish) territory; it's going to be based on features rather than news, a kind of sports car racing lifestyle thing. (That's ********, but you get what I mean.)
I already have a fair few people willing to help by writing and helping with photos, but I need as many people to help as I can- mostly to write. If you want to write about something sportscar racing related, please get in touch. The first issue is a previews issue (obvious really), so along that line is useful, but it's not set in stone. I can't guarantee you'll be "published" but I can guarantee I'll read it, and I will respond. This is not a wind up, and it's not a scam, it's for a bit of a laugh, and (if I'm honest) it might help my career a little.
I may well also need help actually putting it together, so graphic designers (hopefully who know some indesign) would be useful too.
Please feel free to post what you like about it here (feel free to slag me off, or the idea off, honesty is valued here) but you'll be surprised who I've provisionally got on board already.
Finally; it's called l'endurance (no capitals) by the way.
