canon 40d raw converter

could some one help i'am unable to open raw files on cs2 i use a canon 40d
what raw converter would i need to download ?

In Photoshop go to the Help menu, and select updates. You'll then get all the updates from Adobe . (Including some you may not want such as Acrobat reader updates). But this updates your version of Photoshop with the latest version of ACR for that release, without the need to replace plug ins yourself.

Sorry but CS2 cant open Raw from the 40D, had this issue when I upgraded to the 40D, you can download a stand alone converter from adobe that will convert to DNG. Cant remember the name though.

Agreed, after using it for the first time a few weeks ago it made me realise what a crap job camera raw does of converting the files

With DPP they look like they do on the camera and dont strip out my WB settings and picture style info. makes a hell of a difference tbh
