Canon 450D with tamron 17-50 - camera bag?

Hi everyone,

Have done as much on-line research as I can, incl, finding out dimensions of bags, etc. So far, I have narrowed my choice to 2 bags - Lowepro TLZ mini and the KATA DH423 but am still unsure which to go for.

I am not looking to put anything else in the bag other than the above kit & attached neck strap. I am looking for the smallest holster type bag that I can get away with as I plan to use this set up for holidays only.

I am hoping that someone may have a similar camera/lens set up to mine and have one of these two bags. Is there anyone out there with the 450d (or 500d) and Tamron 17-50 who can help?

I use a Lowpro cirrus 140 camera bag its light weight i carry it in my hand luggage regularly now with 2 extra lenses ( nifty, 55-250mm) .

Many thanks for your reply. Motogp. Probably just a little on the big side for me as I won't be taking any additional lenses in the bag.

Does anyone have experience of either the Lowepro or Kata bags (mentioned above), or have another recommendation for a small holster type bag to take the 450D body and short zoom only? I would be delighted to hear.
