I think this is a back to Canon issue, or can I ask directly for a replacement? Brand new model last month, showing a group of red pixels on EVERY shot. I shoot commercially, so this really will be noticed by clients.

Anyone else had this? I'll try and post a photo, but it won't be exciting. I think it will show up in print too :shake:

depends on where you purchased it from, usally under 30 days old you could ask for a brand new one, thats what I would push for.

Sounds like hot pixels - From what I have read on here, unless really intrusive, they seem to happen and are a fact of life when there are millions of them.

I saw this on a forum a while back, I've never needed to use it but as it costs nothing it's certainly worth a try...

1. Remove lens, and place body cap on camera.
2. Select "Clean manually".
3. Leave it in this mode for 30-60 seconds.
4. Shut the camera off directly without doing anything else.

The hot pixel should be remapped and no longer visible.

As I said I've no idea if it works or not, but I can't see that it could possibly hurt anything.
