Thanks for doing the research. Panamoz looks best deal
Before you find and pull the trigger on another 70-200 what are you looking to shoot? Just wondering if a 24-105 f4L might be a better first L purchase for you?
In which case, make sure it really is a 200 that you want. On the 6D you've lost 1/3rd of the "effective"(1) length of the 200 compared to a crop like the D3300.Lc2 its a canon 6D
thanks but the loss of the extra length is not a concern. In which case, make sure it really is a 200 that you want. On the 6D you've lost 1/3rd of the "effective"(1) length of the 200 compared to a crop like the D3300.
This is something I found moving up from a 7D to a 5D3...
(1) yes, I know...

A lot lighter than the 2.8 which I own and never carry due to the weight !

If you're happy to go with Amazon's Warehouse Deals, you can pick up a "like new" non-is version with 20% off today as part of their Prime Day.
Works out at just over £350 (for Prime members).
Be quick though!
Just bringing this up to date, now I'm back with canon (cough cough).
as of today,IS or not?
the question is, will you still be with canon by the time people discuss for another 3 pages?

I bought the IS back then Trev and liked it very much, at the times there were reports from some of the non IS having somewhat different aspect to the look of the files but forgotten now.You should know the answer already..
