Okayy, so I suppose this may end up being quite close to a 'which camera should I buy thread'..
..hopefully you're still reading..
Anyway, basically I went in 3 weeks ago set on buying a Canon 1000D so I had a feel of that, the 450D and the 40D. Now, my initial thoughts were that the 40D was too chunky..although I didn't really get much of a hold but after using a 450D to do some shots the other day I really liked it. Now, I was speaking to another person I know who suggested that the 40D may be a better investment. It is at the top end of my budget.
So I was thinking, since, in about a year and a half I'll be at university and money maybe short that I should invest now in the 40D, to save me "growing out" of the others.
I'm going to it try them out again tomorrow, focussing on the 40D. The only trouble I think I'll have is weight/size. I've used a 300D and that was a little chunky - but if anyone could give me an idea of how difficult it may be to carry around that'd be great. I'm just curious you see.
What would be your views on the weight issue and on the 'growing out of' issue?
Sorry for the essay! :bonk:
Many thanks
