Canon R5 with EF lenses + adaptor

I am looking at the Canon R5 with my existing EF Canon lenses + adapter. I may not want to sell all my EF lenses and buy the new RF ones. If you have the camera and you are using it with the adapter and EF lenses, is there any difference compared to the RF lenses... Any AF delay or drawback? I get it. Canon wants us to buy the new RF lens lineup but I am wondering whether I can use my old lenses?

Your old lenses will behave like they do on your 5d.

Depending on the lenses, they may not allow for the full 20fps, and the IBIS may not be as effective.

As above, the AF will be as good as or maybe better than you're used to - but the R5 with RF lenses would probably be 'better'.

I'm sure some EF-S lenses won't work with the 20fps but I think all adapted EF lenses do, I may be wrong though.

Id be more concerned about using a single 512GB card than 1 card slot. If it were me Id go 128GB CFE for £165 and a 128GB SD. Pro video guys can afford bigger cards for 8K. for me its about redundancy. so I'd go with the 128GB CFE. I am sure by the time I can afford an R5 these be will...
