Canon Speedlite 470 EXAI

Im sure it’s been mentioned before. It’s an interesting concept, and will be great for some, but I can live without that kind of ‘help’

If that's what it takes to get people using flash more creatively - and that's got to be a good thing - then I'm all for it. It'll help to overcome the mystique and even fear-factor that appears to surround flash, plus it's a cool toy ;)

Constantly moving around and changing bounce angles and surfaces that feature must be a nuisance.

Have you seen the price! :wacky:

£500

That takes the shine off it. And after you've used it twice, realised how it works, how simple and easy it is, and switched it over to manual to stop it twitching and whirring... expensive lesson.

Might be useful to anyone not familiar with bounce flash techniques but once you've learned how to do that, I can't see much use for it. I'm guessing it's smart enough to know what type of surface it's trying to bounce the flash off as well. Could be some interesting results if not... ;)
