Folks,
Fairly new to dslr land... but got the bug.
I have a Canon 450D with the kit 18-55 and a cheap Tamron 70-300
Considering my first lens upgrade.
I find the 18-55 quite restrictive so looking for something a little longer as a general walk about. I don't really want to lose the wide end so would like to stick around the 17/18 as a maximum.
I guess the options are
Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC Macro
Sigma 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6 DC OS HSM
Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM
Canon EF-S 17-85mm f4-5.6 IS USM (fix issues in DPP?)
Canon EF-S 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 IS (fix issues in DPP?)
Tamron 18-250mm F/3.5-6.3 Di ll LD Aspherical (IF) Macro
I don't really need a super zoom as I will look later to replace the 70-300
I doubt I will be printing in A4 very often let alone A3
Any thoughts on which will deliver the best IQ ?
Cheers
MIP
