Can't get my website to work?

Hello all, I bought some domain with 123reg a few months ago and managed to share some hosting off a friend last month so I uploaded my website. Everything was working, albeit not completed but up and running. I try to go on it yesterday and all I get is 'Firefox can't find the server at thisisbs.co.uk.'

I've tried different browsers, all the pc's in my house, my friends pc's and still nothing? The website is www.thisisbs.co.uk and I can't even access my cpanel. I have no idea why it wont work, has anyone got any information that could help me?

So have you uploaded index.html or index.php as the root directory?

Because it looks from that as if there is nothing (or not much) loaded there.

Have your files been removed for any reason?

You might need to have a word with 123reg about this.

I just got this:

looking it up, and 123reg's domain search lists the status of the .co.uk as "unknown".

So there are name servers for the domain, but they don't know the IP address of the server.
 
Thanks for the help everyone, I've messaged the guy whos hosting and I've been told to change the name servers. Done that on 123reg but it says it could take upto 24 hours :(
 
yep, DNS will take up to 24 hours.

it is often less though
