Just a quick update.

Looks like I got in just in time, according to his work queue there are about 45 prints and counting, the lead time for my prints was 7 days, looks like he will dispatch tomorrow.

Will update more when I get them..

strewth. They're cheap.
I'll have to add up what it costs me to do on the Epson7800 with the K3 inks
Ilford had a very nice canvas media. Of course, these are mounted too... crikey.
Would certainly like to see a pic of the print quality

Any update rob_lin? They are cheap. Mounted aswell.

Hi All

Just got them in today, packed really well and absolutely no damage...

What can I say,strewth!!!

Bargains to be had, come mounted on 1.5inch deep wood, the mount is really well constructed.

The image that has been printed is perfect, whites are a white, and no difference from my original photo..

The largest one which is 24 x 36 is just spectacular, and the small ones are perfect in every way..

Highly recommend this guy, he knows what he is doing...

I'll take a pic and let you guys see... One of the mount and one of the actual print...

It's worth checking out Colab's prices for canvas bonding too..

http://www.colab.com/downloads/pricelist/2006_pricelist_.pdf

I've used this service a lot in the past and found them very reasonable for a 1st class job. A conventional print is produced from your image, then the emulsion service is peeled away from the backing paper like a skin and bonded to a piece of canvas so that the texture shows through, producing a superb result.

CT

Don't knwo if you know or not, but the print is actually on the canvas, not bonded at all...

Sorry if i misunderstood you...

Fair does then Rob - totally different technique. :)

Hey Willies, did you get your print baack yet? Just curious on your opinion of the quailty.
